Jason Wells specializes in providing litigation support for professional firms and courts throughout the Southeast in Jackson Thornton’s Valuation and Litigation consulting group. Wells offers
expert testimony with extensive experience in the courtroom. He also guides the group in large data cases where his technical expertise positions them to take on some of the largest cases in the country. In addition to his litigation consulting services, Wells has more than 20 years of experience in the valuation of closely held operating companies. He also serves as Consulting line of business leader for the firm.
In addition to being a CPA, Wells is committed to his area of practice through continuing education. He is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), holds the ABV (Accredited Business Valuation) certification, an MAFF (Master Analyst in Financial Forensics) certification as well as the CFF (Certified in Financial Forensics) certification.
Wells is a graduate of Birmingham Southern College and received his Masters in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. He is board president of Paseo Alabama and a past president of the Montgomery Lions Club in addition to being the former treasurer for Christchurch Anglican.
Wells holds professional membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts and the Montgomery Estate Planning Council.
